Hangstefer promoted to head women’s tennis coach Wofford athletics director Richard Johnson announced today the promotion of Katie Hangstefer to head women’s tennis coach. Hangstefer had joined the Terrier tennis staff in September 2007 as an assistant to head coach Rod Ray.

Baseball Drops Doubleheader at C of C The Wofford College baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader to the College of Charleston on Saturday at Patriots Point Field. The Terriers were defeated 20-1 in the first game and in game two fell 10-0.The Terriers final home series will be Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 against Appalachian State.
The Wofford College baseball team was defeated 10-7 by the College of Charleston on Friday night at Patriots Point Field. The Terriers held a 6-3 lead in the middle of the seventh, but the Cougars responded with a total of seven runs in the seventh and eighth innings for the win.
Due to potential inclement weather in the Charleston area on Sunday, the final two games of the Wofford at College of Charleston baseball series will be played as part of a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Patriots Point Stadium.
The Wofford College baseball team was defeated 10-5 by #12 ranked South Carolina on Wednesday night at Russell C. King Field. The Terriers were led by Michael Gilmartin with three hits and Mo Seay with two RBIs on a double.
