Hunt, a left handed pitcher from Greenville, South Carolina, made two appearances on the week. Against Rider he went two innings with three strikeouts and one hit with no runs allowed. In a Southern Conference match-up against Elon on March 22 he went 3.1 innings with three strikeouts and allowed only four hits without a run. He notched the win against Elon, which included getting out of a bases-loaded, one-out situation in the top of the tenth inning without a run being scored.

On the season, Hunt has a 2-0 record and leads the team with a 0.00 ERA. He has made eight appearances with 15.2 innings pitched and is fourth on the team with 20 strikeouts. He has allowed only 12 hits and four walks and is the only Wofford pitcher who has not given up a run this season. Hunt also has one save on the season.

Hunt is the seventh baseball player in school history to be named Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week. Last season Ben Austin received the honor on February 26. George Lehr earned the honor a total of three times in 2000 and 2002.

The Terriers will face Presbyterian on Tuesday, March 25 at 4:00 pm at Russell C. King Field. Wofford will begin a three-game series at Davidson on Friday, March 28.
