SPARTANBURG, SC – Wofford College baseball coach Todd Interdonato announced the addition of four student-athletes who will be joining the Terriers this fall. Mac Doyle signed a National Letter of Intent, while Mason Bradley, Bo Brandt and Bobby DeLuria will also be joining the team.
“We are excited about the addition of these student-athletes and their future at Wofford College,” said head coach Todd Interdonato. “So far we have ten members of our first recruiting class as a coaching staff and we are fortunate to get not only great athletes, but great quality men.”
Mac Doyle is a 6-1, 200 pound catcher from Conway, South Carolina. At Conway High School he had 39 hits and eleven home runs with a .487 batting average. His eleven home runs led the state as Conway won the 2008 South Carolina Lower State Championship. He also was a four-year letterman in football at fullback and linebacker.
Mason Bradley is a 6-0, 170 pound right-handed pitcher. This season at Charlotte Christian he is 8-2 with a 2.42 ERA as the team has advanced to the state semifinals. Last season the team won the state 3A ISAA championship.
Bo Brandt is an outfielder from Raleigh, North Carolina. As a senior at St. David’s, Brandt was named all-conference and conference player of the year. In addition, he was named state 8-man Football Player of the Year.
Bobby DeLuria is a 6-0, 175 pound right-handed pitcher from Alpharetta, Georgia. He played this season at St. Francis. In 2007, he earned All-Region honors.
These four join pitcher Cash Collins, outfielder Konstatine Diamaduros, outfielder/pitcher James Foster, pitcher J.D. Osborne, catcher David Roney and pitcher Gus White. All six signed National Letters of Intent with the Terriers in November.
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Clearinghouse.
