CONGRATS!  Good news for several Terriers this week
Rising senior football player Jonathan Hufford from Oxford, OH was named a Presidential International Scholar on Tuesday (May 6).  Hufford will now be afforded the opportunity to travel throughout the coming academic year to developing countries researching an independent project.  Hufford was also recently inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and becomes the fourth athlete to win this award (Russ Sandifer '07, Will King '95, men's soccer and Andrew Green '94, football).

Sophomore baseball player Kyle Behrendt was named to the CoSida/ESPN The Magazine District 3 Academic All-America Third Team this week.  The Greenwood, S.C. native has started 44 games in the outfield for the Terriers and is currently batting .399 on the season while maintaining a 3.68 GPA majoring in finance.

Al Clark '01 was promoted this week to assistant athletic director for development and major gifts.  Clark a former linebacker for the Terrier football team joined the administrative staff in 2007 and in his newly expanded role will handle major fundraising efforts for the program including scholarship endowments and facilities, such as the Taylor Center.

The Terrier Nation grew by at least one member this week.  Richard Bradley Lowry III, grandson of athletic director Richard Johnson was welcomed to the world yesterday afternoon. "Brady" is the son of Lindsay and Brad Lowry and is tentatively penciled in the Wofford men's basketball starting lineup for the 2026-27 season.
