Men's Soccer Ranked Sixth In South Region

SPARTANBURG, SC – The Wofford College men’s soccer team moved up in the NSCAA rankings this week and are now sixth in the South Region. The Terriers are the highest ranked team in the Southern Conference.
The last time Wofford was ranked sixth or higher in the South was in 1991 when the Terriers were members of NCAA Division II.
Wofford is 8-1-3 overall on the season, with the lone loss coming at North Carolina State, which is ranked 14th in the nation. The Terriers have set the school NCAA Division I records for wins in a season, Southern Conference wins in a season and will have the first winning record since 1994.
The Terriers will play at Clemson on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. The final regular season home game will take place on Friday, October 30 at 6:00 pm at Snyder Field against College of Charleston. Admission to the home game is free.
