SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College men’s basketball head coach Mike Young has announced that his program has received National Letters of Intent from Nathan Parker and Domas Rinksalis.

Nathan Parker is a 6-5, 190 pound post player from Knoxville, Tennessee. Last season at Bearden High School he averaged 12.1 points per game to lead the team along with 4.6 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game and 2.1 steals per game. He earned Region 2-AAA Tournament MVP honors. Along with All-Region honors, he was named Class AAA All-State by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association.

Domas Rinksalis is a 6-9, 225 pound center from Sialia,Lithuania. He played last season at Greensboro Day School where the team won the conference championship and finished third in the state championship. On a balanced team that includes three Division I signees, he averaged 8.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game. He participated in the Charlotte All-Star Classic. Prior to Greensboro Day, he played at Roanoke Catholic.

“Both of these young men represent everything that Wofford College looks for academically and athletically,” said head coach Mike Young. “We have a great nucleus returning next season and we look forward to having both of these players on campus next fall.”

The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Clearinghouse.
