2009 Cross Country Schedule
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College men’s and women’s cross country coach Bryan Jackson has announced the schedule for the 2009 season. The slate includes six events, plus the Southern Conference Championship.
The season will begin on September 1 with the Wofford/USC Upstate Cross Country Relay. On September 5, the Terriers will take part in the 26th annual Eye Opener event held at Milliken Park and hosted by USC Upstate and the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind. On September 19, both teams will run in the Winthrop/Asics Invitational.
On October 2, Wofford will run at UNC Charlotte, followed by the South Carolina Intercollegiate Cross Country Championship on October 10 at Furman. The teams return to Spartanburg on October 17 for the USC Upstate Invite at Milliken Park. On October 31, Elon University will host the 2009 Southern Conference Championship.
