2008-09 Cheerleading Squad
The cheer squad is comprised of two squads of 12 young ladies that cheer for all football games and all home men's and women's basketball games. The dance team performs during selected football and home men's and women's basketball games. Both squads travel to the Southern Conference Basketball Tournament as well. Cheer try-outs are normally the end of March/first of April.  Dance tryouts are held at the same time and again in September. The cheer squads are under the direction of Elizabeth Rabb.  Denise Willard serves as the Dance Team coach.

SoCon Announces Spring Academic All-Conference Teams
The Southern Conference announced on Wednesday the Academic All-Conference teams for the 2009 spring season. Wofford College had 22 individual honorees.

Taylor Center Nears Completion
The construction on the Joe E. Taylor Building on the Wofford College campus is nearing completion, with a move-in date scheduled for Monday, June 15. The first shipment of equipment for the weight room arrived on Monday, June 8.
