October 18, 2008- Terriers vs. Western Carolina (1:30 pm) - All youth football players and cheerleaders in uniform admitted free! Parents and siblings may purchase tickets at the child general admission price of $10.00 Call Wofford Sports Marketing at (864) 597-4110 and reserve your tickets in advance to receive a deeper discount for families! Offer also valid for participants in the All Spartanburg County Youth Choir as well!

"Growing Up Gold Week at Wofford" October 12-18, 2008
All the following events are free for youth age 12 and under!
October 12 - Women's soccer vs. Samford, 2:00 p.m., Snyder Field
October 14 - Men's soccer vs. Clemson, 6:00 p.m., Snyder Field -- Free "Let's Go." thundersticks to the first 150 Wofford fans. Bring household items such as paper towels, bathroom tissue, plastic garbage bags or facial tissue and recieve a free ticket to the Wofford-WCU football game Oct. 18 as part of Operation Care and Hope hosted by Gramling United Methodist Church
October 17 - Women's soccer vs. UNC Greensboro, 6:00 p.m., Snyder Field - "Terriers Go Pink" night - purchase special "Go Pink" t-shirts with proceeds going to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation
October 18 - Men's soccer vs. Furman, 6:00 p.m., Snyder Field, Snyder Field - "Terriers Go Pink" night - special auction for game-worn Wofford soccer jerseys highlighted in pink. Jerseys worn for the season-opening exhibition at Wake Forest and tonight.
October 18 - Football vs. Western Carolina, 1:30 p.m., Gibbs Stadium, Academy Sports+Outdoors Bowl 8 - Youth Football Day at Wofford (see below).
October 18 - Volleyball vs. Western Carolina, 7:00 p.m., Benjamin Johnson Arena - Free admission
Boss' Buddies is the official kids club of Wofford athletics. The kid's club was created in October 2003 and originally named the “Terrier Tikes Club.” Boss' Buddies is for all kids 12 and under. Kids receive a t-shirt, "Club Card" which is their admission ticket to all home sporting events (excluding football homecoming)! Membership is only $30. "Academy Sports+Outdoors Bowl 8 - Youth Football Day at Wofford” - The Wofford football program celebrates the excitement of youth football at one game each year. An exhibition of youth football teams at halftime as well as FREE admission for other area youth football leagues and teams to come as a group highlight this event.
Youth Football Day took an extra twist in 2006 with six teams on the field at once during halftime. The field is split into three separate 20-yard "games." That tradition will continue in 2008. For complete details click the logo at right.

3rd Girl Scouts Sports Day at Wofford
The third annual Girl Scouts Day at Wofford is set for Saturday, September 27, 2008. Last year, over 170 area Girl Scouts participated in this special field day that includes instruction from Wofford volleyball, soccer and basketball student-athletes. The day ends with all the Girl Scouts receiving special patches at the Wofford volleyball match vs. The Citadel.

"TerrierLand" - Bring the entire family to "TerrierLand," the interactive kids zone located outside Gibbs Stadium at every home football game. "TerrierLand" opens two hours prior to each game and closes 20 minutes before kickoff. The features of "TerrierLand" include the "Terrier Tumbler" - the "world's largest doghouse," a football accuracy toss and free posters, schedules, magnets, pom poms, Terrier Towels and more. "TerrierLand" has been a highlight of the football gameday experience since 2004.
Mr. Gatti's "Kid of the Game"
Stop by Mr. Gatti's in Spartanburg (during the athletic calendar year - August-May) and register to be a "Kid of the Game." Kids selected receive a "Property of Wofford Athletics" t-shirt, free buffet at Mr. Gatti's, special recognition before the game, and tickets for the entire family (for ticketed events).
Youth Team Exhibition Program - Everyone is a winner when your team performs at halftime of a sporting event. Area middle school and youth teams in football, basketball, soccer and volleyball are invited to play an exhibition at halftime of games. Must be age 12 and under to participate. All youth team exhibitions are presented by
First Team Sports Center of the Carolinas.
